A Delhi court Tuesday dismissed a complaint against BJP MP Gautam Gambhir by AAP leader Atishi Marlena who accused him of concealing the information that he was enrolled as a voter in two Assembly constituencies of Delhi, an offence punishable under law.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal said the allegation against Gambhir was "baseless and not legally sustainable".
The court said: "There is no evidence on record to show what, if any, false statement was made by Gambhir which may amount to an offence under section 31 of Representation of People's (RP) Act."
