Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma summoned the airlines for July 13 on a complaint filed by its woman employee.
"After going through the entire material on record, this court is of considered view that prima facie sufficient ground exists to proceed against accused for offences under Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act.
"Accused be summoned for aforesaid offence... On July 13, 2016," the court said.
The woman had alleged in her complaint filed through advocate Ajay Verma that her senior colleague had in 2009 sexually harassed her by way of inappropriate language and gestures, which she had reported to the management of the airlines.

Thereafter, the senior official had transferred her to the airline's Kochi office and while she was there, he used to continuously harass her by calling her on phone and abusing her, the complainant alleged.
She has also claimed that the airline had in December 2011 assured her that it would look into the matter and also appointed a committee to go into her complaint but in March 2012 her complaint was rejected and in July 2013 she was informed that the whole matter is a closed subject.
Subsequently, after conducting an inquiry into the allegations, the police had lodged an FIR under section 509 of IPC against her senior colleague, it said.
