Edathodika was dubbed as the 'Great Wall of Delhi' during the last season for his heroics as he kept the Dynamos defence steady. He was also picked as an Indian senior team probable for the SAFF Cup 2015.
He evolved as a defender playing alongside legends like John Arne Riise in the last season, and received constant guidance from teammate Florent Malouda.
During his 14 appearances for the Dynamos last season, Edathodika made 46 tackles, 24 interceptions and 164 clearances. His passing accuracy was recorded at 88.44 per cent and scored a goal against Pune City FC at home.
Ghosh was signed by the Delhi outfit in 2015 after injuries to goalkeepers, and he immediately managed to impress the technical staff and management with his performances on field and at training.
He made three appearances for the Dynamos last season, and managed to hold one clean sheet and made 14 saves.
