"There was a need to frame a policy involving various states to deal with the problem of trafficking of women and children," Social Welfare Minister Kiran Walia said here at a meeting of NGOs working to stop trafficking of women in Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Delhi.
Walia stressed upon the need for setting up of inter- state coordination committee to deal with the problem.
She said Delhi government would soon launch a campaign to aware people about the menace.
