Delhi golfer Harshjeet leads in Karnataka juniors

Delhi youngster, Hareshjeet Singh Sethie with five birdies against two bogeys took the first round lead at the IGU Karnataka Junior Boys Golf championships at the Eagleton Golf Resort here today.
The 15-year-old Harshjeet, who emerged winner at the Tamil Nadu juniors last week after a series of consistent results carried on that form. He was two-under for the front nine and one-under for the back nine.
Harshjeet was one shot clear of Kartik Sharma of West Bengal, who won the Eastern India Juniors last month and the Southern India last year. Kartik is close behind with a card of 70.
Chandigarh's Adilbir Singh (71) is third and the top three were the only ones to break par.
In Category B, Anmol Arora of Karnataka with 75 leads Delhi's Eshaan Sethi and Yashvardhan Singh, who scored 77 each.
