Delhi Governor, CM greet people on Eid

Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today greeted citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and hoped the festival will inspires all to work towards building a peaceful and prosperous society.
"May almighty grant his choicest blessings to all our countrymen and may India march ahead to claim its rightful place as a leader among the comity of nations," said Jung in his message.
In her message, Dikshit described Eid-ul-Fitr as a festival of joy and happiness and hoped that it will strengthen bond of unity among the citizens.
"This festival has become an integral part of the composite culture of Delhi," she said exhorting, "One and all to celebrate the festival as it helps in cementing the bonds of unity, harmony and brotherhood."
Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel and DPCC president J P Aggarwal also conveyed their greetings to the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr which will be celebrated tomorrow.
