A meeting of Delhi Kalyan Samiti, chaired by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, granted the financial assistance to the organisations working in diverse fields.
Officials said Rs 12 lakhs was sanctioned to Sophia Educational and Social Welfare Society for setting up computer training centres for youths.
Another organisation Sahyog Vikas Samiti has been granted Rs 4 lakh for providing computer education to youths from vulnerable section.
Cure International India Trust has been granted of Rs 7.20 lakh to offer support to children born with club-foot.

Shama-e-Ilm foundation would get Rs 5 lakh for providing vocational training to children belonging to the marginalised section.
Dastkari Haat Samiti has been sanctioned Rs 7 lakh for its cultural activities while another organisation Bhoomika Creative Centre would get Rs 6.00 lakh for organising a festival of dance.
A number of other organisations were also granted financial assistance.
