The official said after applicant downloads the app, he or she will also have to give all information relating to name of firms or organisation, PAN number, email-id, business address. The application will be required to upload the image of business premises.
"On submission of the request of the dealer, the computer system of the department will verify Aadhar details from Aadhar/UID portal and will also verify PAN details of the dealer with income tax data being maintained by NDSL," the official said.
After successful verification of PAN and Aadhar details, such information submitted by the dealer for registration will be made available to the VATO in their login.
Once the details submitted are verified as "genuine", they will have to file registration application with scanned requisite documents and fee, the official said.
