"We have already taken action against gutka, which has been banned in Delhi and several other parts of the country. But one must also learn that tobacco chewing or smoking can cause mouth cancer. So, everybody should try to avoid these things," said Walia at the sidelines of 'Delhi Smiles' - Delhi Health Utsav.

Asked whether Delhi government will advocate stringent laws to prevent people from tobacco chewing and smoking, Walia said, "Yes, we will be working on that. We will work on that but at present we will work only on gutka."

'Delhi Smiles' - Delhi Health Utsav - a programme organised by Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences- also witnessed launch of the pilot project under which two mobile dental check up vans will roam north east district of Delhi for dental check-up and increase awareness among masses about oral cancer.
