Dikshit took round of the stalls of various departments and organisations which showcased a spectacular growth during the last 14 years and described it "as a marvellous presentation of the success stories in Delhi which enabled the capital city to become a world class city".
Accompanied by Industries Minister Haroon Yusuf, she inaugurated Delhi Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan and said "the pavilion would be able to disseminate the vision and priorities of the city government."
The pavilion highlights rich flora and fauna of the city as Delhi has been acknowledged as one of the greenest capitals in the world.
The House Sparrow, which has been declared the state bird by Delhi government, is highlighted at the entrance.
Also, DSIIDC is showcasing its upcoming projects like knowledge-based Industrial Park at Baprola, multilevel manufacturing hub at Rani Khera and New Industrial Area in Kanjhawla besides various housing projects.
