Delhi Police arrest notorious criminal from Pune

A 29-year-old criminal, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, has been arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police from Pune.
The accused is Raj Dev, police said today.
Raj has several cases, including that of murder, registered against him.
A native of Sitamarhi district in Bihar, Raj along with his accomplices Manoj, Ajay, Pappu, Pintu Singh and Raj Kumar had murdered one Anil Gupta in July last year.
"Manoj, Pappu and Pintu had been arrested while Raj, Raj Kumar and Ajay had absconded. They were declared proclaimed offenders in the case and a reward of Rs 50,000 each was declared on them," said a senior police official.
The official said the arrest was made on the basis of information that Raj was now indulging in criminal activities at the railway station in Pune.
"Actin on the tip-off, a police team was sent there and Raj was arrested yesterday. Police are interrogating him about his accomplices and they will also be arrested soon," he added.
