According to police, 24-year-old Preety was very upset for the last few months over a family dispute because of which she might have taken such extreme step.
"Preety also had a fight with her husband over some issue today at her residence. Thereafter, she consumed some poisonous substance," said a police officer.
The officer also said that she was rushed to a nearby hospital where her condition is said to critical.
