In the wake of last rites of President Pranab Mukherjee's wife, the Delhi traffic police have advised commuters in the national capital to avoid the stretch from Moolchand towards Lodhi flyover on the Lala Lajpat Rai Marg between 8.30 AM and 11.30 AM tomorrow.
Traffic congestions are expected in the area because of VVIP movement during the said time. The VVIPs shall be visiting Lodhi crematorium for the cremation of President Pranab Mukherjee's wife, Suvra Mukherjee, who passed away today, the traffic advisory said.
However, Aurobindo Marg, Bhisham Pitamah Marg, Mathura Road and Ring Road will be available for commuting between areas in South and Central Delhi, said Muktesh Chander, special commissioner of police (Traffic).
