Delhi wins national U-14 school cricket

Delhi boys registered an emphatic seven-wicket win over Uttar Pradesh to clinch the 59th National School Games in U-14 Cricket tournament, here today.
Set 110 runs to win in the final, Delhi overhauled the target for the loss of three wickets.
Earlier put into bat, Uttar Pradesh boys managed 109 runs for the loss of nine wickets.
Karish Gaur of Delhi, who scored 46 runs, was declared Man of the Match.
Arsalan Ansari of CBSE was adjudged the best batsman and Saif Ahmed of Delhi was declared the best bowler of tournament.
The tournament, held for the first time in Kashmir, was played at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket stadium here.
