This is Delta's third plant in India and is part of its investment commitment and expansion plans in India, the company said in a press release.
According to the statement, in the initial phase, the Hosur plant will manufacture C and CP series of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) with a rating of 10 hp to 50 hp.
"In the second phase, we will add E series VFD of 7.5 hp to 30 hp ratings. The factory has been designed and built using environmental conservation measures and it will provide a healthy and safe workplace for employees," it added.
Inaugurating the plant, Dick Hsieh, president of Delta Electronics (Thailand), parent company of Delta India, said, "The new factory in India...
