Demand in LS for adequate currency

A demand was raised in the Lok Sabha for ensuring adequate supply of currency, with a member saying labourers and contruction workers are not getting their daily wages due to shortage of notes.
Renuka Butta (YSR Congress) said people in Andhra pradesh are facing problems due to the shortage of currency in ATMs and banks.
Rajesh Ranjan, expelled RJD member, demanded CBI inquiry into the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) "scam".
He alleged that Bihar was "becoming a state of scams".
Ravindra Kumar (BJP) pressed for total implementation of the recommendations of Majithia Wage Boards for Journalists.
Sharad Tripathi (BJP) said India has ranked low at 122 out of 155 in the list of the world's happiest countries and said the country should also have separate ministry for 'happiness' like some other nations have.
