Demand in LS for museum in memory of Kalam

A demand was made in the Lok Sabha today for setting up of a museum in Delhi in the memory of A P J Abdul Kalam, with a member of AIADMK criticising the government for not converting into memorial the bungalow where the late President lived.
Kalam is "a great inspiration to our youth and beloved of masses," said Anwar Raja while raising the issue.
He said Kalam's belongings were "bundled out" from his bungalow in the national capital after his death.
Even the "small" Delhi government is setting up a knowledge park as a tribute to Kalam, Raja said and criticised the "mighty" central government for not taking any praise-worthy measure.

"A befitting national museum must be made," he said.
Members from many opposition parties, including Congress and TMC, supported his demand.
