Demi Lovato poses nude, calls it 'empowering'
Press Trust of India Los Angeles Singer Demi Lovato has bared it all for her latest photoshoot in a bid to encourage women to feel positive about their body and get over their "body-image issues".
The 23-year-old singer, who posed for nude, make-up free and "un-retouched" photo shoot for Vanity Fair, asked women to feel good about themselves, reported People magazine.
"It's empowering, and it shows other women that you can get to a place where you can overcome the obstacles of body-image issues, and you can feel comfortable and confident in your skin." she said.
Lovato's new album titled "Confident" will be out of October 16 and the "Cool for the Summer" hitmaker said the album shows the world her real self.
"I'm about to launch an album that finally represents who I truly am. How do I embrace this new chapter in my life? How do I really walk the walk? What does it mean to be confident? It means letting go, being authentic and this is who I am," she said in the video shot during the photoshoot.
