"It is a bold and timely decision of the PM which is well intended to fight black money through hawala network," Sinha told PTI from Goa.
He said a committee of intellectuals and experts of other fields under Advani should be set up to suggest ways for the convenience of the people, particularly ahead of "salary day rush" in the new month, to withdraw their money.
He, however, blamed some BJP leaders for "messing up" the implementation of demonetisation resulting in difficulty for the common people.
"I am sceptic about the implementation of the demonetisation policy as no proper home work was done ahead of it," he said without naming anyone.
