Led by the outfit's state president Ballu Walia and city president Ranjit Singh Parmar, the protesters started the march from a local Gurudwara and converged at a local bus stand along NH-1 where they raised slogans against the American government.
Flaying the attack as the worst kind of "sacrilege", the protesters demanded foolproof protection of the Sikh shrines and the community abroad.
They added that stringent punishment should be handed out to all those behind the shooting.
