Dempo, who have drawn 2-2 against Rangdajied in the away match, are placed tenth with 16 points from 15 matches. They have strengthened their team with the inclusion of Sanju Pradhan and two foreigners - Tolgay Ozbeg and Haroon Amuri which will give more teeth to their striker force, which has been lacking in the first leg.
Dempo now will be playing with all their four foreigners, and coach Arthur Papas is confident that his team will do well in the second leg and move up the ladder.
On the other hand, Rangdajied United were expecting a better performance against Churchill Brothers after they fielded all their four foreigners and also new recruits Steven Dias and Sushant Mathew but that was not the case as they went down 0-1 and are now at the bottom of the table with 12 points from 15 matches.
But coach Santosh Kashyap is confident that his team can do well in their absence as he has other players like Sandesh Gadkari and T Lalnunpuia.
