Departments of 21 IAS officials reshuffled in Uttarakhand

In the first major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand since the BJP government took over, the departments of 21 senior IAS officials were readjusted with most of them being given additional charges.
The charge of centrally-sponsored schemes, higher education and programme implementation departments has been taken away from chief secretary S Ramaswamy, who was holding nearly a dozen departments.
The charge of centrally sponsored schemes and programme implementation has been given to Umakant Panwar, while that of higher education to additional chief secretary Ranvir Singh.
Additional chief secretary to the chief minister, Om Prakash, has been given additional charge of PWD and Estates department.

Principal secretary (election) Radha Raturi has been given additional charge of personnel, vigilance, suraj, corruption elimination, women's empowerment and child development departments.
Principal secretary rural development Manisha Panwar has been given additional charge of industries.
Other IAS officers whose departments have been readjusted include Anand Vardhan, Bhupinder Kaur Aulakh, Amit Singh, C S Napalchyal, R Meenakshi Sundaram, Vinod Sharma, Shailesh Bagoli, D Senthil Pandyan, Radhika Jha, Arvind Singh Hyanki, Usha Shukla, Mangesh Ghildiyal, Ranjana, Ashish Joshi and Vinod Kumar Suman.
