Deputy Election Commissioner discusses poll preparations in UP

Deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi today held a meeting with state election officials to review the preliminary preparations for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections and the progress of electoral rolls revision.
Zutshi met Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha and other officials to discuss various issues, and apprised them of the updated directives of the Election Commission of India.
Later, he also held a meeting with the representatives of different political parties.
Zutshi held a meeting with Secretary (Home) Amrit Abhijat and ADG (Law and Order) Mukul Goel, and discussed deployment of forces during elections and related issues.
