Dera spokesman Aditya Insaan told PTI today that the Sect head had moved a Panchkula court seeking permission to go abroad for promotion of his upcoming film.
Besides, Gurmeet also wants to create awareness on drug addiction and prostitution, he said.
His application is likely to come up for hearing in the Panchkula court on February 10, Insaan said.
The Censor Board of Film Certification had given its clearance to the film.

The film will hit the screens across the country on February 13, and was also expected to release abroad, he said.
The Dera chief has also sung and composed seven songs.
MSG's proposed release had sparked off protests in various parts of Punjab and Haryana earlier. The Punjab government had denied permission to screen the film apprehending law and order problem.
