Designer Agnimitra Paul said she was chalking out a plan to involve the women of Sundarbans and design a range of clothes.
"We will involve the women in some way by training them to do simple work like stitching or embroidery. We can start with T-shirts and then have other clothes like sarees or other women wear," the designer said at the relaunch of wildlife magazine Environ.
She said the funds would go to conservation activities carried on by Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS) in the Sundarbans.
"The objective is to save the tiger by reducing man-animal conflict in the Sundarbans," Paul said.
