Designers Nikhil Thampi, Nishka Lulla and Nupur Kanoi presented wearable line on the second day of the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2013 here.

The colours were restricted to soft tones with organic blue, ecru and beige added to the neutrals. With simple silhouettes and marked Indian accents, Nishka presented a comfortable line of timeless wear for women on the move.
"My line follows the same story of a Bohemian girl who, likes to travel. I took inspiration from the dandelion flower. I believe that style should be personal and comfortable. It is a very flexible collection you can wear in everyday," Nishka told reporters here.
Inspired by the work of American painter, sculptor and illustrator Richard Artschwager, designer Nikhil Thampi's collection was called 'Cruise 2013'.
He presented jumpsuits, dresses, saris, elegant gowns, pencil skirt, sexy swimwear, tailored jackets, waist coats and pants that gave men's and women's wear a definite fashion direction. The colour card comprised of white, nude and black, yellow.

"My line is an ode to American artist Richard Artschwager, his ideology inspired me a lot. I have tried to pay a tribute to him," he said.
Designer Nupur Kanoi brought 'Ladies and Gentlemen' in her contemporary line.
Keeping the mood of the theme intact, a line of blazers, shirts, waistcoats, Nehru jackets, printed silk tailored safari suits, ganjee lungi maxi dress, jumpsuits, sarongs, pathani kurtas came down the ramp in quick succession.
"All the clothes that we showcased can translate from runway to real life. They are wearable. Indian designers make clothes which are very blingy, but we three designers did not do that," Nupur said.
