Desired support from Centre is missing, says UP CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today claimed the state was progressing on all fronts but the desired support from the Centre was missing.
Attacking the UPA government, the chief minister said that UP was progressing on path of development but the "desired support from the Centre was not being received".
He also criticised the UPA government for rising inflation, saying that it was due to Congress.
The chief minister also claimed that "conspiracies were being hatched" to malign the SP's image ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"In the wake of forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, conspiracies are being hatched against SP and we should remain alert against them," Akhilesh told party workers.
He launched party's mass contact programme in Auraiya district.

According to SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary, the party today launched a state-wide programme to take achievements of its government to the people.
Akhilesh alleged that while the other states were taking interest in projects launched by the UP government and appreciating them, "some political parties were indulging in baseless criticism".
The SP government did not spend government money on stones, but instead it utilised it in schemes for the welfare of farmers, youths and unemployed, the chief minister said.
Claiming that the law and order situation was better than before in the state, Akhilesh said that industries were being established to create employment opportunities.
Akhilesh said that when the party and government would work jointly there would be no delay in resolving problems being faced by the people.
He claimed that the government has fulfilled most of the election promises and remaining would be completed soon.
In a programme organised in Lucknow, SP spokesman and prison minister Rajendra Chaudhary alleged that BSP supremo Mayawati was conspiring against the government and her intention was to hinder development and malign image of UP.
"By demanding the President rule, she is trying to malign image of the state," he alleged.
