Police officer Gorakh Nath Yadav said here scrap dealer Ashok is on the run and the police team is interrogating his family members.
"The source of 700 detonators which were recovered from a scrapyard here will only be ascertained after the arrest of Ashok," Yadav said.
The owner of the scrapyard, Ram Prakash, has been arrested as the authorities are trying to ascertain the facts of the case while another scrap dealer, identified as Kale, too has been taken into custody in this connection.
Kale told investigators that he had bought electrical scrap from one Ashok in Kota around 10 days back and does not know anything about how the explosive material found its way into the scrap.
Two children were injured on Sunday last in Prakash's scrapyard in a powerful blast which took place as they were setting the scrap material on fire to extract copper.
After the explosion, police had recovered around 700 detonators from Prakash's junkyard.
