Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today laid foundation stones of various schemes and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 15.90 crore in Dumka.
He gave agriculture tools to farmers and tri-cycles to four persons, according to an official release.
He also gave away citations to five panchayat swayang sevaks (PSS) for their excellent work.
Addressing the Santhal Pargana divisional panchayat sevak convention, Das said development will bloom when those connected with it work with commitment and in the interest of the society.
He directed the BDOs of all 24 districts to deal with problems and complaints of PSS in a time bound manner and said corruption at any level will not be tolerated.
Das said under the 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' (government at your doorstep) campaign, villages and panchayats can work according to their needs which will benefit all, according to the release.

He asked the PSS to make the campaign success between June to September by giving correct, clear and exact information to the people.
Giving the slogan of 'Sasaskta Mahila' (women empowerment), Das said very soon blankets will be made in the state and employment opportunity will be there for a large number of women.
The finishing work of blankets will fetch Rs 10,000 to 12,000, he said.
He said Rs 700 crore will be spent on skill training across the entire state, which will produce important human resource.
The convention was also addressed by state Rural Development minister Neelkanth Singh Munda, state Social Welfare minister Louis Marandi and state Labour and Employment minister Raj Paliwar.
