New investment in major sectors including infrastructure, information technology, commerce would generate new jobs and strengthen the state economy, Raje said addressing a public meeting after inauguration of a cotton yarn project at Jhalawar.
Investment was equally important as of education for development of any state, because new investment would create jobs for qualified youths.
"We will fulfill the promise the BJP made to provide 15 lakh jobs in five years. And so far 1.75 lakh youths have been provided jobs in private and government sectors by my government," she said, adding that state's development would not be possible without investment from outside corporate players.
Among other announcements, she said chairman of River Basin Authority would be appointed soon, and reiterated that her government was providing all possible relief and compensation to farmers who lost their crop in the recent untimely rains and hailstorm.
