"In this dharna we aim to remind Prime minister Narendra Modi of his resolve of banning meat export which is denting our agro economy, environment and above all our culture of compassion," Sarva Dharma Sansad said in a statement.
It said it will demand immediate and complete ban on cow slaughter pan India and shutdown of all slaughter houses, complete ban on meat export and stop killing of innocent animals in the name of religion.
September 21 is celebrated globally as the 'international day for peace' and Sarva Dharma Sansad would like to use this day to sensitise the world and Indians towards this heinous crime of killing our fellow cousins who share the Mother Earth with humans, the statement said.
