Dhesi, a 1982 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, is presently working as Joint Secretary in Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and will be posted in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, an official statement said today.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has also approved the appointment of Girish Shankar, IAS (BH:82), presently Joint Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tourism in the vacancy of Sanjay Kothari, IAS (HY:78), it said.
