"It is a very good step which will help the people, especially the youth and those in rural areas, connect with the Prime Minister directly. This is a step in the right direction," Dhindsa said.
The ambitious multi-purpose and multi-modal platform PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance And Timely Implementation) is a unique integrating and interactive platform that is aimed at addressing the common man's grievances.
It simultaneously aims at monitoring and reviewing important programmes and projects of the central government as well as projects flagged by state governments.
Dhindsa also welcomed the new 'Twitter Samvad' initiative, a part of government's Digital India Campaign, that will help Prime Minister Narendra Modi connect with the youths.
