Dhumal nominates ten MLAs to state Council

Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P K Dhumal, who is also leader of the Bhartiya Janata Legislature Party (BJLP), today nominated ten members to the State Council, including himself.
The nine other members included sitting state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti, former state Presidents Suresh Bharadwaj and Jai Ram Thakur, and Virendra Kanwar, Ravindr Singh Ravi, Randhir Sharma, Vijay Agnihotri, Krishan Lal Thakur and Hans Raj, an official release said.
Theorganisational elections of the state BJP have been completed and election of the new state BJP chief is likely in December and the electoral college would consist of 67 elected delegates from each assembly constituency, ten MLAs nominated by the BJLP, all six Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs and former party chief.
The elections of all the district president and state delegates have been through consensus barring Kinnaur district where the election of the district president and state delegate are yet to be held.
