DIG recommends action against erring police personnel

DIG (Kolhan) Md Nehal today recommended action against erring police personnel following complaints from various businessmen and industrialists against them for last few months.
On the directive of Director General of Police, Rajeev Kumar, Nehal told PTI that he has conducted enquiry against various nature of allegations by businessmen and industrialists against the police personnel.
Many businessmen and industrialists as well as the senior functionaries of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) lodged their grievances before him at Adityapur police station, about 3 km from here, in Seraikela-Kharswan district today and narrated the harassment made by the police personnel without any valid reason.

"I have enquired into various nature of allegations of the businessmen and industrialists and recommended action against the erring police personnel," he said.
