Union Minister of Law and Justice and Ministry of Information Technology Ravishankar Prasad was also present at the mela organised by the Ministry of Electronics and information Technology.
The mela had stalls set up by various banks and other companies providing demonstration on digital transactions.
As many as 12 nationalised banks, oil companies, public sector undertakings, BSNL, Department of Posts and mobile operatorsare also participating in the exhibition.
Addressing the gathering, Jigajinagi said the aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to eliminate corruption and make this country cashless and it was the duty of every citizen to co-operate with the government to make "digi-dhan" successful.

Five entrepreneurs from villages who had helped the rural people in cashless payment were felicitated.
Prasad said people were enthusiastic to shift to the digital mode.
The Digi-dhan Mela was an initiative by the Centre to provide training on the digital payment system to the citizens as well as merchants.
