In a letter to the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), STF, Sudhir Shahi, Singh said that there are a number of cases since 2006 in which credentials of selected candidates are doubtful.
The STF is already probing the alleged scam by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) in conduct of Pre-Medical Test (PMT). Many top officials of MPPEB were already arrested by the STF since the scam, pertaining to admission by students through various unfair means, surfaced in 2013.
"There are a number of cases since 2006 in which residential addresses of selected candidates are same. In some cases, domicile certificates of selected candidates, who have cleared their 12th board exam from Uttar Pradesh, state that they are residents of Madhya Pradesh.
"In certain cases, photos of selected candidates in their exam forms are different from the photos pasted in their seat allocation forms," Singh said in the letter copies of which are distributed to media.
Alleging that the selection of aforementioned candidates is suspected "as per my information", Singh said that he wanted the STF to also probe such admissions.
