The veteran actor was hospitalised here for ten days back in September after suffering a myocardial infarction (heart attack) and his birthday celebrations are being kept low-key this year.

Also, as usual, there will be stars from the film industry streaming in to wish him but that will happen after 9 pm," sources close to the actor told PTI.
Superstar Aamir Khan, who is known to be close to the legendary actor said, "I am his big fan. We all are thankful to him for entertaining us through his films. I wish him good health and a very happy birthday."
Actor Abhishek Bachchan said, "He (Dilip Kumar) is my dad's favourite actor. I wish him a happy and healthy birthday."
