During Zero Hour, Congress MLA Karan Singh Dalal raised the matter, saying things were not clear after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made the announcement about the scheme in the House yesterday.
Khattar had yesterday informed the House that PM Modi had during 'Shahidi Diwas' function in Hussainiwala (Punjab on March 23) announced to give monthly pension of Rs 5000 to farmers after they attain 60 years of age.
However, ruling BJP members trained guns on Congress MLAs, alleging that they had little concern for the welfare of the farmers. Noisy scenes prevailed in the House for a while as the two sides indulged in verbal duel.
Meanwhile, Khattar informed the House that the Central government has approved two mega food parks for Haryana which will be set up in Sonipat and Panipat districts of the state.
"Besides large scale investments, these projects would generate direct and indirect employment for 41,000 youth in the state and strengthen the financial position of the state along with improving the rural financial management in Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts," he said.
