"The movie is about the universal topic of corruption. I am happy that the festival will help people discuss the issue (with the screening of his film). That was the sole aim behind producing this film," said Talak, director of the film, who has won national award for his Konkani film 'Aleesha'.
'A Rainy Day' features in the competition section of Jagran Film Festival, which is India's only 'travelling' film festival.
The festival's concluding phase would be held in Mumbai from September 22-28, after travelling through 15 cities.
