Director of explosives factory in Rajasthan arrested
Press Trust of IndiaOne of the directors of an explosives factory in Chittorgarh district in which an explosion took place yesterday in which four persons were killed and two injured, was today arrested by police.
"Sumer Singh has been arrested and two other directors are absconding," Additional SP Gopal Singh said.
"A case against them was registered with Bhensroadgarh police station under sections 285 (Negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter) and 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of IPC," he added.
The blast in the mining explosives factory in Rawatbhata occurred last evening in which four men were killed and two injured.
"Reasons of the blast are not clear yet. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) today visited the scene and collected samples and the matter is under investigation to ascertain the causes," said Singh.
