The seven-day festival that begins here on February 22 with support from Delhi Tourism is set to bring together 31 organisations for 80 different walks across the city.
"We have handpicked guided walking tours that reveal the incredible layers that our city has to offer. Heritage, food, djinns, sufi music, foraging to name a few," Aastha Chauhan Director, Delhi, I love you said.
The idea she said was to bring people together and make room for conversation about improving the culture of walking and its larger implication on pollution and mobility.
The festival will travel through 3 places in the city -- Chunnamal Haveli in Old Delhi, Allaince Fancaise in Lodhi Estate and the IAQ art gallery in Qutub complex -- which would host tertiary events like music, street performances, readings, film screenings etc over the week.

"What if we all looked at Delhi in a new light? What if we focused on what we truly like about our city? Its initiatives, its creativity, its history, its food, its stories, its biodiversity, its people?" Chauhan said.
She hopes this festival will become an annual affair.
The genesis of the event began a few months ago when Delhi, I love You met Delhi Dallying a group of architects who organise walks and workshops in Delhi.
