Dismissed IAS officer Tinu Joshi surrendered at Central Jail here on completion of her three-month interim bail granted by the Supreme Court.
The services of Tinu and her IAS officer husband Arvind Joshi had been terminated for amassing wealth highly disproportionate to their known sources of income.
Both were in jail and were granted bail on medical grounds.
The apex court had granted Tinu bail for three months on medical grounds and that period ends tomorrow.
Her lawyer, Jitendra Soni said Tinu has surrendered in Central Jail as her interim bail period has ended.
Besides, Tinu also applied for a fresh bail in the court of Additional District Judge (ADJ) DP Mishra, but it was rejected.
Jail Superintendent Akhilesh Tomar confirmed that Tinu has surrendered and she was kept in the women's ward.
