Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, facing a disproportionate assets case, today said that "witch-hunt" shall not persist and he has done "no wrong".
"I have not done any wrong. Witch-hunt shall not persist, have full faith in judiciary. Will continue to serve people of the country @INCIndia," Singh said on Twitter.
Singh had yesterday said he had no problem in joining CBI's investigation in the matter after the Delhi High Court asked him why he was not doing so.
The Delhi High Court today refused to grant any interim protection to Singh's two children who have challenged Enforcement Directorate's provisional attachment of some of their assets in a money laundering case.
Backing the Chief Minister, AICC today said that finally it will be proved that all the actions against him were "motivated by malice".
"As far as I know, Virbhadra Singh is giving full cooperation to the on-going probe. Simultaneously, Singh has also said that this entire issue is fake and that both CBI and ED are being misused. Singh will cooperate fully in the probe as per law. Finally, it will be proved that this entire action is motivated by malice," party spokesperson Manish Tewari said.
