The BJP state leadership has been left red-faced after BJP Birbhum district President Dudh Kumar Mondal resigned from his post over his differences with the state-level leaders on the choice of candidates for upcoming municipal polls in Birbhum district.
"Yes it is a fact that these incidents of infighting and dissidence in the party is sending out a wrong message to the masses," Sinha told reporters here.
Today too in several districts such as Malda, Murshidabad and Siliguri, posters of Rahul Sinha were burnt and slogans raised against alleged nepotism and corruption over distribution of tickets.
"Actually after the Lok Sabha polls, the party has been growing but we didn't get time to place these people within organisational bindings. After the municipal polls, we will start the process," Sinha said.
Sinha also said that on the issue of Dudh Kumar Mondal's resignation, the party would take a call tomorrow.
