Rao, a city-based builder, has lodged a FIR in this connection against unidentified persons under Olidih police station.
Talking to newsmen here, Rao said the caller has threatened him with dire consequences if he failed to fulfill the demand of Rs. 5 lakhs.
The caller dentified himself as an aide of notorious criminal, Akhilesh Singh, who was arrested from Gurgaon last year and currently languishing in Ghaghidih jail here, Rao said.
