Divi's Laboratories Q3 Net up 51.84% at Rs 219.02 crore

Drug firm Divi's Laboratories today reported 51.84 per cent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 219.02 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.
The company had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 144.24 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 687.41 crore for the third quarter as against Rs 533.33 crore in the same period of previous financial year, Divi's Laboratories Ltd said in a filing with the BSE.
The company said it had a foreign exchange loss of Rs 5 crore during the period under review as against a gain of Rs 16 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.

Shares of Divi's Laboratories closed at Rs 1,321.70 per scrip, up 0.42 per cent, on the BSE.
