"The meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday was postponed for the time being from our side due to some reasons, but it will be rescheduled," Tripura political secretary B K Sahu said.
District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police of Dhalai, Sepahijala, Gomati and South Tripura, along with BSF officers were scheduled to meet to discuss border related issues like smuggling, cross border movement of insurgents, development of infrastructure, setting up new border outposts (BOPs) and erection and repair of barbed wire fencing.
The BSF had also agreed to help and provide logistic support to BGB in construction of BOPs in the remote Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh.
