DMDK leader hits out at AIADMK govt

DMDK leader Premalatha Vijayakant today hit out at the ruling AIADMK government, alleging that it did not handle the flood situation properly at Chennai in December last year.
Addressing an "Election Manifesto elaboration" meeting here, she wanted to know what happened to the flood relief money sanctioned by the Centre.
She assured several amenities for the people of this coastal district including regulated water supply, flyovers or sub-ways at busy level crossings, house for salt pan workers, among others, if a DMDK government was elected to power.
