Doctor arrested for allegedly murdering wife

A medical officer of government hospital in Tamil Nadu's Tindivanam and five others were arrested in connection with the alleged murder of his wife who was a junior engineer in a municipal office in Puducherry on February 12.
Both were living with their children in Puducherry.
The woman was knocked down by a car while returning home from her office in her scooter followiang which she died.
Police said that on a complaint from the parents of the woman, and inquiry was conducted and it was found the doctor allegedly engaged mercenaries to kill.
All the six accused were since remanded by a local court to fifteen days judicial custody.

Already the driver of the car was arrested on Saturday.
Police sources said that the doctor was absconding since the incident and was nabbed today on the premises of a private hotel.
